Introduction

Spring is here! This means it’s time to get your calendar ready and plan out your classes for the upcoming semester. Here is our Academic Calendar for Spring 2018, including information on deadlines, online registration, and more!

Academic Regulations

1. All CSUF students are required to follow CSUF Academic Regulations. These regulations govern everything from course scheduling to attendance. Students who violate these regulations may face disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion from the university.

2. It is important to keep up with your coursework and deadlines throughout the semester. Make sure you register for classes on time and use the correct grade code for your course. If you need assistance with your coursework or deadlines, please contact your instructor or the Office of Academic Affairs.

3. It is also important to be aware of campus events and activities and plan your schedule accordingly. Check the CSUF calendar regularly for updates on major campus events, and be sure to attend any mandatory events that you are required to attend.

4. Finally, remember that if you have any questions or concerns about your academic progress, please contact the Office of Academic Affairs or your instructor. We will do our best to help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Course Schedule

The Spring semester at Cal State Fullerton starts on Monday, January 8th and ends on Friday, May 12th. The course schedule can be found here: http://calstate.edu/academics/registrar/course-schedules/spring-2016/.

There are a number of new courses being offered this semester, including an Economics of Transportation class taught by Dr. Manoj Saxena. Other popular courses include Information Systems Security and Database Management, both taught by Associate Professor John Turner. There are also a number of Continuing Education classes available this semester, such as the Computer Forensics certification course offered by the CSUF Police Department.

Deadlines

The Spring semester at California State University, Fullerton begins on Monday, January 7th and ends on Friday, May 11th. There are a number of important deadlines that students need to be aware of in order to successfully finish their courses during this semester.

First and foremost, all students must submit their grades by the end of the seventh week of classes, which is Friday, February 10th. This means that if you are missing a few assignments or tests, you will need to make up those grades as quickly as possible. In addition, all final exams must be taken at the end of the semester, which is Friday, May 18th. If you have any questions about these deadlines or how to follow them properly, please contact your instructor.

Additionally, there are a number of other important dates that students need to be aware of. For example, class registration opens on Monday, January 14th and closes on Thursday, February 17th. Registration

To register for classes at CSUF, you will need to visit the registrar’s website. The website has information on how to register for classes, including deadlines and how to pay for your tuition.

You are also able to register online using the MyCSU Portal. This portal is available to all students, regardless of whether they attend class in person or online. You will need your NetID and password to access the MyCSU Portal. Once you have registered for classes using the MyCSU Portal, you will be able to view your account information and make changes if necessary.

Registration for spring semester begins on January 12th and ends on April 12th. Late registration is not available at this time.

Payment of Fees

All CSUF students are expected to pay all applicable fees prior to beginning classes. Please visit the Cashier’s Office on the ground floor of The Student Union for details on payment methods, deadlines, and exceptions.

For students who are unable to pay in full by the due date, several payment plans are available. Payment plans may be obtained from the Cashier’s Office or online at https://pay.csuf.edu/. Late payment penalties may apply.

Fees for Spring 2019 are as follows:

Undergraduate: $214 per semester (plus $27 per credit hour)
Graduate: $244 per semester (plus $27 per credit hour)
Extension: $32 per course*
*Note: Extension department fees vary according to course load

Transcripts and Records

There are a few things you need to know about the CSUF academic calendar for Spring 2019. First, transcripts and records will be sent out shortly after the end of the Fall semester. Second, withdrawal from classes during the Spring semester is not allowed without receiving permission from the professor. Finally, add/drop dates for courses will be announced in late January.

Student Conduct Code

The CSUF Academic Calendar for Spring 2019 has been released. The calendar includes important dates and deadlines, as well as information about how to register for classes.

The first day of class is Monday, February 5th. All students are required to attend a mandatory orientation on Wednesday, January 16th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Student Union Building. After Orientation, students can start registering for classes onCourseWork.

There are a number of important regulations that students must follow when attending classes at CSUF. The most important rule is the Student Conduct Code. This code sets forth the rules that students must follow while attending classes and while on campus. Violations of the Student Conduct Code can lead to serious penalties, such as suspension from school or even expulsion from CSUF.

Athletics

The CSUF Academic Calendar for Spring 2019 is now available. This calendar includes important dates for athletes, staff, and students.

The first day of classes at CSUF is January 9th. The last day of classes at CSUF is May 17th. During this time, students are expected to be in class every day and complete all required coursework.

Athletics events will also be occurring during this time period. Please note that these events may impact campus traffic and parking availability.
